Day 2
After breakfast the coach will depart for Giverny and Monet’s Garden where group entrance is included. During the afternoon, we continue our journey to Vernon, on the banks of the river Seine with its gothic church, fine arts museum, 12th century castles and the famous old mill. There are also lots of lovely shops, little cafés and restaurants to explore. The coach will depart during the late afternoon for the journey back to our hotel.
Day 3
The coach will depart during the morning for the Normandy coast – Côte Fleurie and the chic resort of Deauville. Here you will have free time before continuing to Trouville, a charming fishing port, with rich architectural heritage. During the early evening we will continue along the coast to picture postcard Honfleur on the Seine Estuary – ports don’t come any prettier than Honfleur. Glorious historic houses jostle for position on the quays, as do galleries. There will be time at leisure to enjoy an evening meal (cost not included) in one of the many restaurants that surround the port. Depart during the evening for the return journey to the hotel.
Day 4
After breakfast we will have a panoramic guided tour of Rouen both on the coach and on foot. After the tour the remainder of the day will be at leisure in Rouen.
