Thursford Christmas Spectacular – 2 Days / 1 Night
The Thursford Christmas Spectaular, the largest Christmas show in England and live from the heart of Norfolk, is a pageant of colour, spectacle and music. With the rousing sound of trumpets, the skirl of bagpipes and the rattle of drums, your heart will miss a beat at such a sensation of sights and sounds.
Suggested Holiday Hotel:
The Holiday Inn, Norwich. Situated on the outskirts of Norwich, hotel features include the Junction Restaurant, a lounge bar and the well-equipped Spa leisure club – with gymnasium, swimming pool, beauty therapy rooms and relaxation treatments (some facilities may be chargeable). All bedrooms feature en-suite bathroom, direct dial telephone, interactive TV and pay movies, trouser press and hairdryer, tea and coffee making facilities and 24 hour room service.
Suggested Tour Itinerary:
Day 1
Depart during the morning (the pick-up times will be between 09.00 – 10.00 hrs) and travel to Norwich making a stop en-route at a place of interest. From here, we continue to our hotel – The Holiday Inn, Norwich, where accommodation is reserved for one night. Shortly after arrival a 2-course lunch will be served, after which you will have time to freshen up, prior to the coach departing at approx. 16.30 hrs. for the journey to Thursford. Upon arrival there will be time to browse around the gift shops, etc. prior to taking your seat in the ‘Deluxe’ area for the 19.00 hrs performance of the Thursford Christmas Spectacular.
A pageant of colour, spectacle and music a blend of song, dance, choir bands and entertainers. The mighty Wurlitzer is the corner stone of every lavish production. After what is a truly fabulous evening of entertainment the coach will be waiting to transfer you back to the hotel, where upon arrival, a supper of soup and sandwiches will be provided.
Day 2
After a full English breakfast, we check out of the hotel and make our way to Bury St. Edmunds. Upon arrival admission and a guided one hour tour of St. Edmundsbury Cathedral are included. Afterwards, there will be time at leisure before the coach departs during the mid-afternoon for the journey back to the Midlands, arriving during the early evening.
